If you’re anywhere even remotely near the spiritual/astrological/mystical community then you are aware of the Lions Gate portal. It peaks on August 8 every year - 8/8. But what the heck does it mean and what are you or I supposed to do with it?
I’ll be honest, I have no idea. So I put on some meditation sounds and asked Spirit a little more about it.
Their message is this…
We love how you (humans) place significance on everything. It’s as though it is a means to give permission to act and believe the way you’ve been afraid to. Your magic doesn’t depend on a day of the year or a position of the stars. However, in keeping with the need for allowing, here is a message that you can share.
This is a time to tip the scales in favour of “everything is possible”. This is thought to be a very lucky time for humans and a time to make their dreams a reality. (If only you understood that you can do this at anytime) Use this time to quiet the voices that tell you you can’t. Your mantra should be “everything is possible” or “everything is available to me”. The deeper you believe, the more evidence you will receive.
We love you so very much. Our hope is that you will see your magic as we do.
I had to laugh at being called out on our need to attach meaning and significance to everything. It’s so true, but that’s how we roll, isn’t it?
In addition to this channeled message, I consulted good ole Google and it says that the Lions Gate Portal is an astrological event when the star Sirius is in a certain position in the sky, making it appear brighter and this is a time to manifest your dreams and wishes. I can definitely get on board with that.
So what can you do on this auspicious day? Like Spirit said, focus on your power and your thoughts. Write down a powerful mantra that resonates with you and say it on repeat throughout the day. Do things that make you feel good and that align you with your best self. Visualize what you are ready to allow into your life. Use and harness the accepted collective “luck” to your advantage.
Also…avoid the naysayers and negative Nellies. You know, the people who like to call themselves “realistic” but they actually just like to shit on the dreams of others. We don’t need that when we are calling in our abundance!
Whatever you do, remember that everything is possible. You’re magic as fuck. Make THAT the theme of every damn day.
